Diet News
It's a
diet for people on the run, the ones who don't have a lot of
time to shop and cook. Pam Oliver, a weight-loss specialist
who created the plan, calls it the "Lazy Diet." The
menus center on three meals and three snacks a day, with dishes
that take less than 15 minutes to prepare or are easy to buy.
A sample menu for the day offers a choice of 1 cup low-fat yogurt
or two hard-cooked eggs for breakfast, two beef or chicken tacos
or a tuna sandwich with fresh vegetables for lunch, 1-1/2 cups
of macaroni and cheese and a serving of green veggies for dinner,
and three snacks - two as fruit and one an ice cream sandwich.
